Make your Lift last.
Graduated compression only works while the fabric keeps its stretch and recovery. A few small habits will keep your leggings supporting you shift after shift.
Washing
- Turn them inside out before washing to protect the surface and the waistband.
- Wash cold (30°C / 86°F or below) on a gentle cycle.
- Wash with like fabrics and close any zippers or hooks in the load — rough velcro and denim are the enemy of technical knits.
- Use a mild detergent. Skip fabric softener — it coats the fibers and breaks down the stretch that gives you compression.
- No bleach.
Drying
- Air dry whenever you can — lay flat or hang. It's the single best thing you can do for the life of the fabric.
- If you must use a dryer, choose low or no heat. High heat is what kills elasticity.
- Never iron or dry clean.
Everyday habits
- Give pairs a day to recover between heavy wears when you can — rotating a couple of pairs makes each last longer.
- Store them folded, not crammed, to keep the waistband's shape.
- A little pilling from friction is normal over time; a fabric shaver refreshes them in seconds.
Treat them like the gear they are and they'll hold their Lift for the long haul. Questions? We're at help@leveawear.com.
